I just dont get why a.net wont update the rest of the game.
Yes, they DO depend on people buying the new expansions and they have to spend their resoucers on making it better and better. But thinking about the possible new gamers, they wouldnt want to buy prophecies nor factions... and I wouldnt recomend it anyways, they just abandonned it.
Im almost sure that if they upgrade them all to make them look like Nightfall (with decent green bosses for prophecies, mouth movimentation at cutscenes at both, upgrade the quests so that they give gold, increase the price of drops for merchants at chap1, combat themes), i am pretty sure most of the people who play Wow would start paying attention to GuildWars, and REALLY be interested at all three continents.
An.net should start studying the possibilities of upgrading the rest of the game so that they could get more buyers.
And i am aware that GW just came to South America and its not beeing a major hit, like it COULD be... why? Because one chapter is better then the other ones, and OBVIOUSLY people dont want to buy 1/3rd of a game, they want the whole thing... but the rest is... just not interesting. There ARE possible buyers, they just need to see "GUILD WARS - THE BEST ONLINE GAME EVER - BUY ALL 3 CHAPTERS NOW!!"

I still think ur doing a great job, Gw is a great game. But it can be better... wts holding you?

Nothing that won't make sense. Tbh i'm getting sick of seeing Shadow Mobs brawling with Skeleton Mobs, then going round the corner to find them sitting down drinking tea together. If they're rival opponents, keep it that way for all of them!

Upping the mob levels and increasing there numbers i'm not sure about. Maybe making everything lvl28 yeah. But if we start upping numbers its gonna become extremely cookie cutter, just like elite missions in Factions were. I'm not saying the mobs should be insanely hard or stupidly easy. Just different. New skillbars for example, having to devise new counters to FoW enemies while effectively keeping it the same place would be alot more favourable than changing it completely.

As for Dragon Lichs... please god no, killing off things with 10000+ health gets a bit boring, its bad enough killing 2 of them in the whole place.

Reattempt? We don't have to attempt them anymore. We have that many counters to skills now its just becoming too easy.

Open up the realms of lyssa, melandru and dwayna. We've now got 9 statues (ToA, Zin Ku and Chantry) that do absolutely nothing.

It would also give Anet a chance to implement something different to the usual hack/slash.

Melandru: ecto's grow on trees.
Lyssa: you think you've picked up an ecto, but it was just an illusion.
Dwayna: she gives you an ecto, but you have to give it to the homeless later

A complete embarassment to mesmer's everywhere. Channeling and 3 non-spammable skills? Illusion of haste when they don't move? Shatter enchantment and empathy are good skills, but these mesmers are so far from a challenge its ridiculous.

The rangers are nice, but barrage? Is that really the best they could come up with? Why not give them punishing shot and let the noob PuG's see that rangers can do a bit more than spam one skill. Godly reflexes with interupts would be fun to watch. Magebane shot would be a great skill to give them as well.

Skeletal bonds are also the stupidist things in that whole place. They contiune to patrol for a very long way even when in agro range and the beserkers are attacking your team. Then half way through they use life bond and cast spell breaker only on themselves. Spell breaker is a weak elite for an enemy mob, and only slows the process of killing them. It's just as easy when it ends.

To be honest, for an example, the same monster Shadow Beast should be given a different skillbar than another Shadow Beast found in FoW. Same for the other enemies, so that even if you know the proffesion from the name, you cannot be sure what skillbar the enemy has each time.

I don't think they would be ecto in those realms... maybe... diamons on Lyssa's, magic pinneapples in melandrus and bottled clouds in Dwayna's.

Well i disagree, maybe ur playing too much 5-man fow with bonders or u just play with warriors
The rangers do A LOT of dmg with barrage at soft targets, and thats what they are supposed to do

The skeletal bons are just annoying, and they use insufe health on who you are trying to kill, the berserkers, since they are the only ones who actually do any dmg. You just got used to them, thats why u think they are useless.

Oh yea, the mesmer are really an offense to the mesmers...

But wouldnt Anet have to change the gameplay in order to do this??? sorry all they really update is useless crap like how dye appears and what colors you can buy...don't count on it.
